Our Kindergarten Readiness class is offered five day a week from 9:30-2:30.  This 4 year old 4 program is an extension of the three day a week 4's program but will engage in a more rigorous academic program extending and applying the readiness skills they have acquired. Emphasis on these readiness skills will increase your child's ability to enjoy learning, gain knowledge, experience preschool success, and enjoy continued success in kindergarten.  This 4's class also focuses on Kindergarten readiness skills, pre-reading and literacy skills, the alphabet, sight words, writing skills, numbers and math concepts, as well as colors, shapes and many social skills.  Of course, playing IS learning and is integrated daily.  The 4's take part in specials offered such as gym, computer lab, chapel, music, library, community outreach projects, and field trips too.  We focus on the 'whole' child.  There are different options for the Kindergarten Readiness class.  Some students come Monday- Friday from 9:30-2:30.  Other students attend the 3 day option on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30-2:30.  This is great for families who want their child to experience the challenge of a full day but just aren't ready to part with their child for that many days!
