This extra curricular program is a wonderful activity designed for our 3 day 3 and 4 year old students. All of these students are invited to attend our monthly Lunch Bunch. Our goal is to foster social time and lunch time for our students who are preparing to go to Kindergarten. They will get to meet new friends from other 3 and 4 year old classes during Lunch Bunch, eat a full meal together, and play. Lunch Bunch is also designed to give YOU, the parent, a little extra break too.
Sign Up Requirements First come, first served. An online sign up sheet will be sent to families a week before the Lunch Bunch. There are 15 spots but we will have a waiting list, in case there are illnesses that day.
Cost The cost for this extra time at school will be $20.00 for the 2 hours - 11:30-1:30. Refunds will be given if the school has to cancel that week's series. Pick up time is promptly @ 1:30. We will escort your student to their designated pick up door and dismiss students when their parent has arrived.
Lunch Bunch Staff There will always be 2 staff members present during each Lunch Bunch Series. These will be teachers at FPPS. It is a great way for your child to get to know some of the other teachers at the school who they may have the following year or as a substitute.
What to Bring? In addition to their regular daily folder, homework, or other school supply: Snack in a brown bag labeled "Snack" with your child's name (for their regular class) Lunch in a lunch box also labeled with your child's name.
Enrichment Programs-2026-2027 Dates and Sign ups will be released soon. First Presbyterian Preschool Scholars Program We are excited to be offering enrichment programs in the months of January, February, March and April. Students will stay after class and engage in center time/gross motor play, eat a packed lunch, participate in small and large group lessons and explore hand-on learning activities. Classes will meet on Monday’s from 11:30-1:30pm. Teachers: Ms. Amy and Ms. Catherine Holidays around the World-December 2026 The students will learn about various Holidays around the world. They will learn about the culture, play games, and activities. They will share what they have learned with their families in the classroom.

Art Explorers- January 2027 The students will learn about various artists and the many different kinds of art. They will paint on canvases, make drawings and crafts, experiment with art mediums and create a sculpture. They will share their work with their families in an art show.

Stupendous Scientists- February 2027
The students will learn about the world around them through observation, experimentation and play. At the end of this program, the parents will be invited into the classroom to see what the children have learned and participate in their own experiment.

Budding Builders- March 2027 The students will explore building with various materials like blocks, boxes, legos, marshmallows, recycled materials and more, fostering their imagination, problem-solving skills and fine motor development through hands-on building activities. They will hear from Ms. Catherine's husband who is a bridge builder.
